Excellent condition M1914 Saw Back bayonet for the Schmidt-Rubin 1911 carbine. This bayonet was issued to select troops only. The Model 1914 differs from earlier saw-tooth models by the addition of a bulge at the end of the blade and is fullered on only one side.
The 48cm blade is in excellent condition and is marked on the ricasso “Waffenfabrik Neuhausen.”
The wooden scales show minimal age related wear and the press stud locking mechanism works perfectly.
The black leather scabbard is in excellent condition as is the leather frog. The steel scabbard chape is marked with the Swiss cross.
This is a rare and highly sought after bayonet in fantastic condition.
