Returns and Cancellations

Bygone Blades is committed to providing excellent customer service. It is of upmost importance to us that you enjoy your purchase.

Product Returns

Items inspected and collected in person from our premises in Melrose, Scotland can be returned within 7 days and will be exchanged for a credit note of the same value.  Items purchased through the website are packed carefully to ensure your order reaches you in perfect condition. If you have any reason to be dissatisfied, please return the product in its original condition (if possible), include any original packaging and a brief explanation of why you are returning the product.

You have 7 days from the date you received your order in which to return your item. Once we have the item(s) back in our possession and are satisfied with the items’ condition we will refund the cost of your order via PayPal (minus original shipping costs). If the reason for the return is that the item has been damaged in transit you will receive a full refund including the delivery cost.


Cancellation Policy

Orders placed online will be shipped within three working days. We will inform you by email if there will be a delay or an issue with your order. If you would like to cancel an order, please email richard@bygoneblades.com or call +44 (0)7772 388817.

If your order has not yet been shipped, it can be cancelled for you at no cost. If the order has been shipped, please wait for it to arrive and keep it safe. Once you have the item - please do not open the package.

You will need to arrange and pay for the item to be sent back to Bygone Blades at the registered address above - this can be done via a courier or another service provider such as Royal Mail.

Item(s) should be sent by a signed for service to ensure that the item(s) will be returned safely. 

If you are overseas and want to return an item, you will need to email us first. The refund will be processed for the products only (excluding shipping costs) once Bygone Blades has received the order back in the same condition in which it was sent.
Please note - shipping costs are non refundable.
