A British bamboo root-ball sword cane with gilt metal collar and etched, double-edged blade.

The 706mm double-edged blade tapers to a spear point. Both sides of the blade are faintly etched with foliate scrollwork and one side bears crossed arrows tied with a ribbon. The blade is in generally good, slightly over polished condition and has remnants of an original plated finish.

The blade sheathes snugly within the body of the cane and is held firmly.

The bamboo root ball handle of the cane is in excellent condition and the blade is held firmly within. The end of the cane has a replacement brass ferrule.

The cane is in excellent condition.

Total length 900mm.
