Very good condition 250mm single edged blade with spear point and long fuller. The blade is shiny and untarnished, retaining its original plating with only very minor loss. The blade is marked on the ricasso with the WKC logo and knights helmet. The bayonet retains its leather buffer.
The blade is firm in the steel hilt which wears black, chequered bakelite grips.
The hilt and cross guard retain their original plating and working press stud locking mechanism.
The black painted steel scabbard retains most of its original paint and comes complete with its original leather cavalry frog which is marked “Otto Stephan, Muhlhausen, Thur 1938.” The scabbard has lost one side of its retaining strap.
