This beautiful sword cane is carved with oak leaves along its full length. The style of the cane and carving suggest that it is German or Austrian in origin.
The hardwood shaft of the cane conceals a 568mm single-edged blade. The un-fullered blade has a flat spine and terminates in a needle-sharp point. The blade is double-edged for the final 80mm.
The blade sheathes and draws smoothly and is held firmly within the body of the cane, locking in place with a twist.
The cane has a total length of 890mm and is in great condition with a slight bow and wear to the ferrule from use.
